Rust

tmr-cli is a command-line timer and stopwatch written in Rust. It supports plain countdowns, wait-until-time alarms, and a stopwatch with lap support, plus pause/resume so a timer survives interruption. When a timer finishes it fires a desktop notification, so you can leave it running in another pane or terminal.

Highlights

  • Countdown timers, wait-until-time alarms, and stopwatch mode
  • Pause and resume — timers survive interruption
  • Desktop notifications when a timer completes
  • Single fast binary written in Rust
